5 Jun 2003	Jewel's knight	Loading... You took reference on a Tia Carrere picture. Man, you take reference from real people, like Jewel, Tia Carrere and several others, but I like your work. Just wish you could tell people that you took referece from pictures. Ric Sattler replies: "In my early pictures I used references from magazines and other paperware. But in this case.. I think that Tia Carrere has "some bit" of asian or oriental influences (I just visited one website with pictures). In the original sized picture, you would see that she is not Tia Carrere. But with your comment I know why people think that she is the person on one other picture of mine ;-)"

14 Nov 2005	Magdalena De Monte	Loading... yay someone who knows what a Rapier is!! I practice with them in a group called the S.C.A. (www.sca.org) which is why this pic caught my attention. Except she's not holding it quite right leaving her arm wide open for gacking and her hand and foot placement are a little off for a proper Rapier stance but I love it any way, wonderful work with the colors and shading!
